MANSEHRA: Three persons were injured when a gas cylinder exploded in a shop here on Saturday.

The police said that the gas cylinder exploded during refilling in Gari Habibullah area. The explosion put the shop on fire.

The locals shifted the injured, Mohammad Waqas, Abdul Majid and Mohammad Altaf, to the civil hospital.

Meanwhile, Mohammad Sadaqat, 20, and his cousin, Mohammad Osama were on way to Mansehra from Balakot when the motorcycle they were riding veered off the road in Rehr Galla area, injuring both of them.

The locals shifted the injured to King Abdullah Teaching Hospital, where doctors pronounced Sadaqat dead.

The body was handed over to family after medico-legal formalities.
