PARACHINAR: Hundreds of people, including civil society activists, political and religious figures, demonstrated in front of the Parachinar Press Club on Saturday to demand arrest of the terrorists involved in an explosion at an Imambargah in the border area of Shorku, Lower Kurram. The blast had killed the caretaker.

The protesters condemned the explosion and termed the incident as a conspiracy to ignite sectarian strife in the region.

They also accused the local authorities of allowing construction work on a disputed land in Balishkhel area.

The protesters urged the high-ups to stop the illegal construction, or they would launch a protest movement.
