LAHORE: Chief Minister Usman Buzdar has sought a report from the provincial ministers with regard to their respective departments’ performance.

Mr Buzdar says the performance report will be made public.

The chief minister’s office has issued guidelines regarding preparation of the performance report by the provincial ministers about their respective departments.

The ministers have been directed to prepare performance report on the policy reforms and progress on key initiatives of the government. The respective departments will also provide information on the implementation on the development programme, progress on the automation and online service delivery and details about steps taken to create ease and facilitate public-private partnerships and business.

The provincial ministers have been asked to provide details about the initiatives taken for the welfare and betterment of the people, amendments in the existing and new legislation, steps taken for austerity, details regarding reforms and future targets.

Meanwhile, speaking to federal minister Sahibzada Mehboob Sultan, MNA Amir Sultan, MPA Rana Shahbaz Ali and Umer Farooq, who called on him, the chief minister said a monitoring mechanism had been evolved at every level and tele-monitoring was being carried out for timely and transparent completion of development projects which yielded desirable results.
