With the entire world brought to a standstill due to Covid-19, the best way to spend your time is by reading books. And reading becomes grand when the book features the characters from your favourite animated series.

Disney Jr. Storybook Collection is one such collection that features Mickey Mouse and the gang in two stories, Agent OSO in one and the Jungle Junction team in the other. What makes this storybook collection all the more interesting is the moralistic nature of the stories, which is the best kind of stories we can ever read.

In the first story ‘Mickey Mouse Clubhouse — A Hot Dog Day’, Minnie Mouse decides to throw a picnic for her friends but loses her basket as well as the invites before she could tell them. However, the picnic does take place with everyone showing up on time and with their offerings; how does that happen makes this story all the more interesting.

In ‘Mickey Mouse Clubhouse — Farmer Donald’s Pumpkin Patch’, the Gang decides to grow the biggest pumpkin, but their plans are hampered by Donald’s laziness, his lack of farming experience, and a tree that stops the sunlight from reaching the ground. With the help of his friends, he manages to grow the biggest pumpkin of all, and win the first prize. I will not spoil the fun for you, read to find out how!

In ‘Agent OSO — Bananas Are Forever’, Agent OSO has two tasks to complete; one is an exercise that will help him in his adventures and the other is helping a friend make a dish for a party. Not only does Agent OSO excel at the exercise, but also in the kitchen where he uses bananas to make a dish that would be loved by all.

And finally, the Jungle Junction team has its own adventure in ‘Jungle Junction — The Circus Comes To Town’ where every team member brings out his or her inner talent and performs at a circus except one. Does that one person feel left out when the Circus opens or he gets to show off his skills in the best possible manner, this book has the complete story.

Every story in this book is loaded with illustrations from the animated series that airs on Disney Jr TV as well as on its YouTube channel. Parents don’t need to be cautious when it is coming from the house of Disney, so worry less about the content and be happy that your kid isn’t troubling you.

Everything is safe when Mickey Mouse is around, and the only thing that can happen will fall under the ‘good’ category. Enjoy!
