The Sindh health department has issued an advisory for isolation of Covid-19 patients, according to which it is the patient's choice whether to isolate at home or a government-run isolation centre.
According to the advisory, no patient can be forcefully shifted to an isolation centre "if proper space is available at his/her home and his/her family members agree". However, a patient can be shifted to an isolation centre if they fail to observe the standard operating procedures explained by healthcare providers.
