88pc of coronavirus cases in Balochistan locally transmitted: Shahwani

Balochistan government's spokesperson Liaquat Shahwani has said that 88 per cent of coronavirus cases in the province have been locally transmitted.

He added that the number of deaths in the province were increasing. "Twenty one people have died due to Covid-19 thus far," he said.

Shahwani further said that the recovery rate has decreased from 55pc to 15pc and urged people to cooperate with the government and follow preventive measures otherwise "stricter actions will be taken".
