KINGSTON (Jamaica), Oct 14: Fast bowler Marlon Black was recalled by West Indies in a 16-man squad named for next month’s three Test tour of Sri Lanka and a triangular series which also includes Zimbabwe.

The 26-year-old from Trinidad and Tobago missed the home series against South Africa and the tour of Zimbabwe and Kenya after sustaining injuries in an attack outside a nightclub in Australia in February.

Black, who has played four Tests and four One-day Internationals, appeared in each of the first three matches on West Indies’ five-Test tour of Australia, taking four for 83 in Brisbane on his international debut.

The squad, selected by the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) late on Saturday, did not include wicket-keeper Courtney Brown, but the selection committee recommended that he join the training camp in Jamaica between Oct 16 and 23 as a precautionary measure.
