Ex-MPA Haji Allah Yar dies of Covid-19

SARGODHA: Former MPA Haji Allah Yar Ansari died here on Friday due to Covid-19. He was 78.

The well-attended burial flouted rules as his relatives and friends did not allow the special team to bury the body.

Mr Ansari remained quarantined at home, but was later shifted to hospital when his condition deteriorated.

He was elected PML-N MPA in 1997.

Health authorities will take samples of his family and close contacts for testing.
