KP adds 68 cases, 15 deaths to records after adjustments

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has added 314 new cases and 24 deaths to its provincial records, Health Minister Taimur Khan Jhagra said. The number includes 246 cases and nine deaths reported over the past 24 hours.

The remaining 68 cases and 15 deaths were added to the additional tally after

  • numbers were not added to digital records while transferring from manual records

  • cases recorded at district level were not added in provincial records

  • authorities conducted post-mortem tests of people whose cause of deaths were unexplained
