Boy dies, mother injured in accident

HARIPUR, Sept 4: A boy was killed and his mother was injured when their car fell from a bridge after colliding with a speeding truck near Sera-i-Gadai village on GT Road on Saturday. Kotnajibullah police said that the woman, Mahjbeen, wife of Abdul Rasheed, was going with her son to Abbottabad from Islamabad in a car which she was driving herself.

The car fell from Sera-i-Gadai bridge after colliding head on with the truck (Mardan-1016). As a result, her son, Amin Khan, 10, died on the spot and she suffered serious injuries. The woman was brought and admitted to Ayub Medical Complex Abbottabad where her condition was stated to be critical.
