A doctor, who hails from Multan and recently recovered from Covid-19, has advised people to take precautions as "prevention is better than cure".

Sharing his experience with Dawn, the doctor, who requested anonymity, said that he had gotten himself tested as a precaution even though he was not experiencing any symptoms. The result was positive, after which he was shifted to an isolation centre at Nishter Hospital, Multan. While in quarantine, he spent his time reading books, praying and sleeping.

After a week in quarantine, where he was provided treatment and counselling, he tested negative. He was tested again the next day and was discharged from the hospital after the results came negative again. The hospital recommended him to stay in isolation at home for another week.
