Senate chairman tests negative for coronavirus

Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani has tested negative for Covid-19, a day after his colleague Mirza Mohammad Afridi had tested positive for the virus, according to a statement released by the Senate spokesperson.

"I got myself tested for coronavirus. I received the result and it came out negative," Sanjrani said.

Sanjrani had met Afridi recently in his chamber at Parliament House.
