MIRAMSHAH: Four security personnel were martyred in a clash with terrorists in the Dattakhel tehsil of North Waziristan tribal district on Saturday, officials said.

Seven terrorists were killed in the fighting.

According to officials, security personnel were patrolling the Tootnarai area of Dattakhel when they came under attack from the terrorists. In the ensuing clash, seven terrorists were killed.

Four security men embraced martyrdom, they added. The bodies of the personnel were taken to a hospital in the Dosali area.

The security forces cordoned off the area following the clash and began a search operation to find the perpetrators of the attack.
