Sara, Adnan excel

KARACHI, Sept 3: DA Public School (DAPS) thrashed St Micheal’s Convent School 13-2 in the opening match of girl’s event of All Karachi Aga Khan University AKU Inter-school basketball tournament on Friday at AKU Sports Center.

Sara Siddique emerged as match winner for DAPS by scoring six points followed by Komal Ghazaali who struck five points. Besides, Fatima scored two points for the winning school. In the boy’s inaugural match, Aga Khan Higher Secondary School (AKHSC) edged out City School (Gulshan Campus) 27-25 after an exciting finish. Adnan with 14 points was the top scorer for AKHSC while Naveed Arshad scored nine points for City School.—PPI
