The government has extended the suspension of international flights announced to curb the spread of the coronavirus until 11:59pm on May 15, 2020, the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) said in a tweet.
International flights were earlier suspended until April 30.
The country is confronting increasingly volatile weather patterns with consequences for agriculture, infrastructure, public health and economic planning.
