Sukkur Mayor Arsalan Islam Shaikh stated that citizens should stay at home if they did not want the the spread of the coronavirus to worsen.
In a video message, the mayor revealed that another 19 people had tested positive for the virus, taking the total toll to 46.
"The situation can go from bad to worse if we do not adopt precautionary measures. Therefore, please keep this in mind and try to be as careful as possible. Leave your homes for emergencies only," he said.
