Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah says his government's decision to restrict Taraweeh prayers during Ramazan does not deviate from the agreement reached between the federal government and ulema about congregational prayers in mosques.
He said the agreement allowed the provincial governments to change the decision "if the situation appears to be worsening".
Doctors have said that the next 10-15 days could be "very difficult" in the fight against the virus, Shah said in a video message.
