Anchorperson Nadeem Malik said that "coronavirus is beyond politics, it is a national issue". He was speaking during Prime Minister Imran's Ehsaas telethon to collect funds to combat the coronavirus pandemic.
Anchorperson Mansoor Ali Khan said that Pakistanis have always "donated generously" whenever natural disasters came but this time the issue affected the entire country.
Other prominent anchors including Hamid Mir, Kashif Abbasi are also participating in the telethon which is being hosted by Shiffa Yousafzai and Muniba Mazari.
