At least 429 Tableeghi Jamaat members in Sindh have tested positive for Covid-19 so far, Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has confirmed, adding that the test results of 91 more members were awaited.

The chief minister revealed that 132 of the 209 new cases reported today were from Tableeghi Jamaat members. Shah added that members who have been diagnosed with Covid-19 were being kept in isolation to control the spread of the virus.

The chief minister further said that there were some 4692 Tableeghi Jamaat members in the province and tests of 4653 had been conducted so far.
