Missing MPs

Published April 4, 2020

THE country has been in lockdown since March 22 and its duration has been extended till April 14th. I am wondering that in these testing times, where are our public representatives?

This is the time when our MPAs and MNAs should be present in their respective constituencies to provide succor to their people and boost their morale. Unfortunately, the opposite is the case.

I was shocked to see a signboard hanging on the gate of one popular politician’s home. The sign requested the people not to visit him because of the pandemic.

The federal and provincial governments should order public representatives to be present in their contituencies.
