KARACHI, Aug 30: Sindh Home Minister Rauf Siddiqui on Tuesday ordered withdrawal of cases against journalists in the province. He issued the order at a meeting with the secretary-general of the Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists.
The cases to be withdrawn include those against Afzal Nadeem of Awam, Asad Ibne Hasan of Daily News, Rasheed Channa of The Star, Mohammad Tahir of Wajood and Abdul Latif Abu Shamil of Friday Special.—PPI
