This refers to the poor condition of currency notes which can be potential carriers of germs apart from coronavirus.
While the government has been taking all possible steps to curtail the spread of this virus, it is the prime responsibility of the State Bank of Pakistan to instruct all commercial banks under its control to deposit all bills in poor shape to it. The SBP then should issue fresh currency notes to restrict the spread of dangerous viruses.
