ISLAMABAD: The local administration with the assistant of Capital Development Authority (CDA) has decided to install 20 sanitising walk-through gates at prominent locations to control the spread of coronavirus.

A statement issued by CDA on Monday said the civic agency was assisting the local administration in installation of the gates.

Initially, two of the disinfectant gates would be installed at Sabzi Mandi, three at Pak Secretariat, eight in slums, four at Pana Gahs and other public places.

The 20-foot-long sanitising gates are being installed at Sabzi Mandi, one each at the entry and exit gates.

In order to ensure provision of chlorine mixed spray, water boozers have also been arranged to attach with the walk-through gates.
