Hand sanitiser

Published March 24, 2020

CORONAVIRUS has spread rapidly throughout the world and there are more than 800 confirmed cases in Pakistan. The health authorities recommend that people should wash their hands frequently and thoroughly and to use hand sanitisers to stop the spread of germs.

Owing to this factor, people have stocked up on this commodity, leaving store shelves empty while online retailers are charging sky-high prices for the product.

Citizens should buy sanitisers of lesser-known brands as something is better than nothing. Those who opt to make their own sanitiser should ensure that by volume it should contains at least 60 per cent alcohol as recommended by the Centres for Disease Control and Prevention.
