CHAGAI: All markets and shops, except medical stores, bakeries, fruit and vegetable selling points, remained closed in Dalbandin on Monday.

The civil administration in Dalbandin, the district headquarters of Chagai, had directed the traders and shopkeepers to shut their businesses as a preventive measure to defeat novel coronavirus.

The traffic also remained thin in the Dalbandin city.

Anjuman-i-Tajiran president Agha Mohammad Hassani said the traders had voluntarily closed their shops and businesses.

During his visit to the Dalbandin Press Club, District Police Officer of Chagai Zuhaib Mohsin said preventive measures were being taken to avoid the spread of novel coronavirus in the district, which is the gateway to Iran.
