Pompeo urges China to share details with ‘whole world’

WASHINGTON: US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo urged Beijing on Friday to make details of the emergence of the novel coronavirus “available to the whole world” after accusing the communist regime of initially covering up the outbreak.
“The Chinese government was the first to know of this risk to the world. And that puts a special obligation to make sure that data gets to our scientists, our professionals,” Pompeo told reporters at the White House.
“This is not about retribution,” Pompeo said. “We’re in a live exercise here to get this right. We need to make sure that even today, the data sets that are available to every country, including data sets that are made available to the Chinese communist party, are made available to the whole world. It’s an imperative to keep people safe.”
In an earlier interview on Fox News, Pompeo said Beijing “wasted valuable days” after identifying the novel coronavirus by letting “hundreds of thousands” leave the epicentre of Wuhan to places, including Italy.

The Chinese leadership should be held completely responsible for the deaths across the world and economic losses because the Chinese Communist Party is famous for concealing, suppressing and lies. This is not the first time it has happened besides those questioning the leadership within China simply disappear. The Chinese leadership has to be held accountable for first hounding Dr Li Weinlang the whistle-blower doctor (today the CCP has apologized to the doctor's family, apology is rare) and destroyed the virus samples when first detected in the Wuhan laboratory, today countries across the world have paid a heavy price. This behavior is totally unbecoming of a member of the UNSC and the second largest economy in the world.

The Chinese were first to to get into the fight against Corona. Wtih no knowledge at all of how it affects, it is very unreasonable to blame for the spread. Can US know before hand about any unknown upcoming tragedy and devise a policy for it? No one can.
So cut the slack. Be thankful and grateful for what is shared. Be polite to ask for more information.
