MARDAN: Vice-chancellor of Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan, Dr Khursheed Khan resigned from his post and left for England before completing his tenure, it was learnt here on Friday.
Dr Khursheed had been appointed as vice-chancellor of Abdul Wali Khan University three years ago. Credible sources claimed that he was hired on over Rs1.2 million salary, which was three times higher than the normal salary given to a university’s vice-chancellor.
