DADU, Aug 27: People’s Party Parliamentarians chairperson Benazir Bhutto has directed ADP candidates and PPP leaders to file petitions with the chief election commis-

sioner, mentioning names of government officials who interfered in polls and cast bogus votes.

She said government-backed candidates cast bogus votes with the connivance of the polling staff in the local body elections.

She demanded that the chief election commissioner should take notice of large-scale rigging in the polls.

She said the people of the country were brave as they always supported the PPP and fought against the dictators.

She directed Pir Mazharul Haq to receive applications from ADP candidates and send to the election commission.

MNA Rafiq Jamali told the party leader that cases were registered against candidates and supporters of the ADP at the behest of the Dadu Ittehad Panel.
