MANSEHRA, Aug 27: The Election Commission of Pakistan while barring the district returning officer Mansehra from official announcement of the results of two union councils of the district has ordered re-elections in three polling stations.

At polling stations Syedabad and Kautar of the union council Sachan Kalan in Bhogarmang valley, the supporters of some candidates had lifted the ballot boxes. Similarly, in polling station BHU Dharyal of the union council Som Elahi Mong, the supporters of some candidates had also lifted the ballot boxes.

The case had been registered against Haji Sultanul Aarifeen, candidate of nazim for union council Som Elahi Mong and his brother Nasim Khan. Haji Sultanul Aarifeen has been arrested while Nasim Khan is still at large.

The repolling on all the three polling stations would be held on Aug 29.
