LAHORE: Pakistan’s baseball team has returned back from the US after World Baseball Classic qualifier to be played in Tuscan Arizona, USA this week, was postponed due to coronavirus epidemic.

According to president Pakistan Federation Baseball Fakhar Shah, who was also accompanying the team in the US said in a press statement that as national and international sports activities had been suspended in the US due to the virus, the Pakistan team which was in the US was also retured back home.

Teams from France, Germany, Brazil, South Africa and Nicaragua, besides Pakistan were participating in the event.

He said Pakistan had reached the US on March 10 and they underwent several practice sessions.
