KARACHI, Aug 26: Former Pakistan number one Khurram Agha will take part in the 14th Style Cup national ranking snooker tournament that commences at Area Snooker Club from Saturday.

Khurram missed the previous ranking event because he was in the United Kingdom.

Thirty-two cueists of the country will be battling it out for top honours and a prize money of Rs129,000 in the six-day competition.

NWFP’s Saleh Muhammad is top seeded while Muhammad Yousuf is seeded second.

Pakistan Billiards and Snooker Association have trimmed the prize money from Rs187,000 to Rs129,000 due to lack of sponsorship.

Following are the groups:

A: Saleh Muhammed, Saqib Butt, Rambel Gul, Muhammed Jamshed.

B: Muhammed Yousuf, Shakeel Bhatti, Qamar Khan, Irfan Rasheed Khan.

C: Naveen Perwani, Raees Khan, Kashif Khan, Waqas Malik.

D: Imran Shehzad, Muhammed Asif, Shah Khan, Arshad Siddiq.

E: Atiq Latif Bakhsh, Minhas Malik , Saqib Zia, Muhammed Baqar.

F: Abu Saim, Salman Shaikh, Kamran Shah, Abid Saleem.

G: Inamur Rehman, M Imtiaz Tipu, Sohail Shehzad, Vishan Gir.

H: Shehram Changezi, Khurram Agha, Farhan Noor, Muhammed Nazir.—APP
