MULTAN: Though Multan Stadium was packed to its capacity during the HBL PSL match between Multan Sultans and Karachi Kings match here on Friday, a good number of spectators were denied entry by the organisers for possessing fake tickets.

Many ticket-holders, after waiting for their turn for hours in queues, reached the entry points where they were denied entry due to having fake tickets on them. Obviously disappointed at that, many fans were engaged in heated debates with the authorities and security personnel but were forced to go back home with broken hearts.

As the cricket crazy fans have been showing great interest for the three matches allotted to Multan here for the first time, some thugs have apparently ripped the fans off by selling fake tickets to them and mint money at their expense.

Meanwhile , it must be mentioned here that there is only one main gate at the Multan Stadium which has been used for both entry and exit of the fans that has caused a lot of commotion. The stadium has a decent capacity of nearly 25000 people and since the matches have seen full houses here, the lone entry and exit point has created a big hurdle for the fans.
