NAUSHAHRO FEROZE: Journalists from different parts of Sindh on Tuesday held a protest demonstration and sit-in outside the Naushahro Feroze SSP’s office over failure of police to arrest “killers” of their professional colleague, Aziz Memon, whose body was found floating in a canal in Mehrabpur on Feb 16.

The protesters came from Nawabshah, Sanghar, Dadu and other areas to take part in the protest.

Leading the protest, Zulfiqar Ali Khaskheli, Mohammed Younis Rajper, Ghulam Mustafa and Wali Chandio criticised “lethargic” attitude of the Naushahro Feroze police and demanded that they should not be allowed to waste time anymore.

They said that the post-mortem examination report of the deceased was not issued as yet which was a matter of serious concern to the journalist community.

They warned that the community would hold a sit-in outside the Karachi Press Club if the killers were not arrested by March 8.
