THIS refers to the news item ‘Qaiser and Mandviwala say no to pay raise for lawmakers’ (Feb 3). I appreciate National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser and Senate Deputy Chairman Saleem Mandviwala for saying ‘no’ to lawmakers’ pay raise demand.
It was a shame to ask for a pay increase when we face such economic crisis. It reflects the mindset of these lawmakers how much they feel for the country.
