HYDERABAD: The first ever endoscopic discectomy surgery at any public sector hospital in Sindh was successfully conducted at the neurosurgery department of the Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences (LUMHS) here on Monday, according to a statement issued by the hospital’s administration.

The hospital has now launched the facility for such patients coming from the general public.The team of neurosurgeons that undertook the surgery was headed by Prof Dr Riaz Ahmed Raja and included Dr Pir Assad Aziz and Dr Sanaullah Pathan as the other members.
