TV play

Published February 6, 2020

RECENTLY there was the last of episode of a play Merey Pas Tum Ho on a private TV channel. I saw people going crazy on social media and there was even a trend on various social media platforms on this TV drama.

Although many films and drams had been made on infidelity by a woman, I was stunned to see thousands of comments by people on social media, especially our younger generation.

I was shocked to read one comment where a social media user warned that there would be a protest if the end of the story was not of their choice. Even the names of cities and points where protests would be held were mentioned.

How will Pakistan progress and how will our generation grow when they waste their time in such useless activity?

I urge people, especially the young generation, to utilise their energies for positive activities instead of going crazy just for an ordinary drama.
