LAHORE: A minor baby was recovered dead with severe burns after a fire broke out in the room of a house near Peer Makki Darbar here on Monday.
According to initial police inquiry, the fire probably erupted in the room when family was in other portion of the house and six-month-old Rafay was alone.
As the family noticed ‘massive’ flames, it called the Rescue 1122 which controlled the blaze but could not save the suckling. The premises was later handed over to the police for further investigation.
