QUETTA: Balochistan Inspector General of Police Mohsin Hassan Butt has called for introducing courses on latest technology to improve the capacity of police and other government departments.

Speaking at the certificate distribution ceremony of a special course conducted by the National Institute of Management on Saturday, the IG police said the old management system had failed and the departments were not performing well.

He said a special course conducted by the National Institute of Management for police and other departments was a positive initiative.

“We need such more courses, I wish to sign a memorandum of understanding of annual training at the police department level,” he said.

“As a nation we will remain backwards if new invention, innovation and new technologies will not be adopted,” he said.

Later, the IG police distributed certificates among participants of the three-week special course, in which 34 participants of Balochistan Police, NIM and Engineering University of Khuzdar participated.
