Govt job fee

Published January 20, 2020

THIS refers to the fee for applying for government jobs. For all government jobs, one needs to pay Rs500 to Rs3,000 along with the application. One’s application is rejected if one doesn’t pay this fee to the government.

Most people who apply for government positions are jobless and if anyone applies for more than one post, he has to pay that much more, apart from courier charges. This is a heavy financial burden for the unemployed.

It has also been observed that more than 80 per cent of candidates who apply for the posts do not get interview call.

I urge Prime Minister Imran Khan to immediately order all government departments to stop demanding any fee for applying for government jobs.
