It was a blazing hot day. I sat in the lush green grass wondering what to do. Suddenly, I noticed an odd speck coming my way. I looked up in astonishment and started to hear some rumbling sounds. I sat motionless and didn’t move a muscle.

This odd speck was coming forward with gusts of wind, even though it was scorching hot. It sent shivers down my spine. I couldn’t believe my eyes when I realised the speck in the azure sky was a flying saucer. I was petrified!

As the flying saucer landed in the bright green grass, I froze. After a few minutes, I came into my senses and realised the flying saucer had turned into a spaceship.

I looked up in awe and astonishment because out came a bright green alien. He had shiny blue eyes, which glistered in the sunlight. At first, I couldn’t believe my eyes and before I could do anything, the alien stopped me and told me that this spectacular ship had crashed.

This peculiar character told me that he had to fix his ship, which would take a few hours. In the meantime, he wanted me not to tell anyone about his presence or let any other person come there. In exchange, he offered me a trip to outer space. I was overwhelmed by this offer and told him to relax, I would keep his presence a secret.

After a few hours, he was able to fix the problem and I was all set for my galactic adventure. I was a little nervous going in space with this robotic, humongous-eyed creature. However, the thought of going into outer space and seeing all the beautiful, extraordinary planets made me forget all about my nervousness. I felt that this was truly going to be a dream come true.

Eventually, the spaceship blasted off into the azure sky and in a short while, we were in outer space. I looked up at the breathtaking view in awe. The alien and I visited the planet Neptune where he gave me a shiny blue jewel, which glistened in the sky. He told me to keep it safe and never to lose it. I kept in my pocket, wondering what would happen next.

We decided to explore outer space and as I looked at the mesmerising galactic view, I was awestruck. Suddenly, I noticed the spaceship’s red light blinking, the alarm blaring and muffled voices coming from the spaceship’s speaker. The alien was panicking and trying to communicate with the muffled voices.

I was completely confused and realised that the muffled voices were people from the alien’s home planet and were trying to locate him. At last, he was able to give his location to the other aliens and in just a twinkle of a star, I saw a spaceship beside us with a few bright green creatures, just like the alien, waving at us. I was happy that the alien had found his homeland friends, but also very sad because my galactic adventure was coming to an end.

He now turned the spaceship towards Earth and I had mixed feelings in my heart. I was happy to be going home, but also sad to leave my alien friend. The spaceship landed with a loud thud and I realised that it was time to say our final goodbyes.

With a heavy heart, I stepped out of the spaceship, gave my alien friend a hug and said goodbye. As soon as he left, I felt that it had all been a dream, but when I reached inside my pocket, out came the shiny bright, twinkling jewel, telling me that what had just happened was true.

All I felt at that moment was this was just the beginning of my galactic adventure.
