PESHAWAR: Mohammad Nisar Khan, father of senior judge Peshawar High Court Justice Qaiser Rashid Khan, passed away here on Tuesday.

The deceased was laid to rest at his ancestral village Thana Khas in district Malakand. The Rasm-i-Qul for the departed soul will be held on tomorrow (Thursday) at his village.

The deceased was also father of Dr Zahid Hussain Khan, Dr Shahid Nisar Khalid, superintendent engineer public health Kaiser Khan, Farooq Khan and Kaiser Jamal Khan.

The funeral of the deceased was attended by people in large numbers including judges of the high court and subordinate judiciary, lawyers, government officials, inhabitants of the area, friends and relatives. They prayed to Almighty Allah to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and provide courage to the bereaved family to bear this loss.
