KARACHI: Lucky Cement Ltd announced the completion of its brownfield expansion for the additional line of 2.8 million tonnes per annum at its north (KPK) plant.

In a notice to the exchange, the company stated that the construction and installation had been completed after slight design modification, as per the given Project completion timelines.

The company stated that the new line was made operational with the commencement of clinker production on Dec 30.

“With the addition of this new line of 2.8m tonnes, the total production capacity (including both north and south plants) of the company had now increased to 12.15m tonnes from 9.35m tonnes per annum,” Lucky stated.
