KHAR: The district administration on Wednesday took serious notice of the alleged use of substandard material in rehabilitation work of Bajaur Sports Complex and ordered the relevant authority to keep close check on the scheme.

The order was issued by additional deputy commissioner Mehmood Ahmad Khan during his visit to the sports complex to review the ongoing rehabilitation work there. He examined the ongoing rehabilitation and renovation work continuing for the last several weeks.

Mr Khan showed his displeasure over use of low quality material in the scheme. He also expressed his anger over the slow pace of work. He advised the relevant department to ensure that quality material was used in rehabilitation work in order to avoid any sort of corruption and irregularities in this project.
