KARACHI: Zaman brothers and their sister dominated the fourth day’s proceedings in the 60th SSB Development Series Ranking Tennis Championships here at Union Club on Wednesday.

Samer Zaman beat Nibras Malik in the U-11 singles semi-final, Zayed Zaman dominated U-7 semi-final against Almir Jan, winning the battle 10-4, 10-1. Second seed Natalia Zaman eliminated Marium Shahid 8-6 in the ladies singles semi-finals.

The closing ceremony of the tournament will be held on Friday at 5:00pm. Imtiaz Ali Shah, Secretary Sports Government of Sindh, will be the chief guest.A certificate distribution ceremony of the 16th Soft Tennis World Cup Championship staged in China last month will also be held at Union Club on Friday at 3:30pm.

U-11 singles (semi-final): Sameer Zaman bt Nibras Malik 4-0, 4-0 Shamim Firpu, president of Union club, will be the chief guest of this ceremony.

U-25 soft tennis (semi-finals): Mohammad Ali bt Saad Ahmed 4-0; Usama Saeed bt Ameer Humza 4-2

U-25 soft tennis (final): Mohammad Ali bt Usama Saeed 4-2

U-7 singles (semi-final): Zayed Zaman bt Almir Jan 10-4, 10-1.
