PESHAWAR: The Peshawar Electric Supply Company has announced up to six hours power suspension on different days in the provincial metropolis due to maintenance work on the transmission lines.

According to a statement issued here on Thursday, power supply will remain suspended from 132KV Hayatabad grid station on Dec 7 (Saturday) and 9 (Monday) from 9am to 3pm, which will affect the consumers of 11KV Hayatabad 7, 8, 11 and12 and Deans Heights feeders.

Power supply will also remain suspended from 132KV Peshawar University grid station on Dec 8 and 10 from 9am to 3pm and as a result the consumers of 11KV Abdara, Sufaid Dheri, Academy Town and Achini 1 and 2 feeders will face inconvenience.

It was stated that the consumers of 11KV Landi Arbab 1, 2 and 3, old and new Deh Bahadar, Sheikh Mohammadi, Pishtakhara, Nodia Payan, Kohat Road, Dora Road and Bara feeders will face suspension of power supply from 9am to 3pm on Dec 7 and 10.

The consumers of 11KV Ring Road-2 feeders will face inconvenience as the power supply will remain suspended from 132KV Rehman Baba grid station on Dec 7 and 10 from 9am to 3pm.

Meanwhile, Pesco teams on Thursday cut off 22 illegal connections in Mardan and recovered Rs3.7 million from defaulters. In addition, the task force seized 22 power meters over nonpayment of dues.
