TAXILA: A young man was killed and his friend injured while doing wheelie on Kohat-Fatehjang Road near Jaffar village in the limits of Fatehjang police station.

Police and hospital sources said Wajid Mehmood and his friend Mehtab Hussain Shah were doing wheelie when their motorcycles collided and as a result both were critically injured.

They were taken to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital (THQ) from where they were shifted to District Headquarters Hospital (DHQ) Rawalpindi where Mehtab succumbed to his injuries.

Police while quoting family members of the deceased said that Mehtab had recently been engaged. Fatehjang police registered a case and started further investigation.
