GWADAR: The Pakistan Navy in coordination with the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) conducted an intelligence-based operation near Pasni on Saturday and seized approximately 1,200kg of hashish.

The cache of drugs was being transported to a foreign destination by sea when the operation was mounted.

According to the navy, the operation against narcotics smuggling met with success because of effective monitoring and surveillance work that demonstrated the PN’s perseverance to deter, disrupt and deny use of the coastline for unlawful activities.

The PN would continue to fulfill its national responsibilities with the highest level of commitment and dedication, it added.
