PESHAWAR: The opposition parties in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly will start a sit-in outside the Chief Minister House from Tuesday to protest against the government for ignoring opposition lawmakers in distribution of development funds.

According to a statement issued here on Monday, parliamentary leader of Awami National Party Sardar Hussain Babak said that KP people had equal right on the development funds and resources of the province. He alleged that the constituencies of the MPAs of the opposition parties had been ignored in development projects.

He said the sit-in would start every day at 12 noon and would continue till 6pm until the government gave a commitment that it would ensure equal distribution of funds among all the lawmakers irrespective of their political affiliations.
