KARACHI: Two more matches were played in the on-going 1st Mehmood Maulvi Cup Basketball at Abdul Nasir Basketball Courts in Arambagh on Friday night.

In the first match, Karsaz Club beat Patrician Club 42-36. Leading scorers for the winners were Behzad Khan (18 points) and Uqail Khan (11 points) and Danish Khan (10 points).

For the losing side, the main scorers were Steven Fernandez (12 points) and Victor D’Souza who scored 10 points.

In another match, Falcon Club edged past Bahria Club 42-40 in a closely-fought contest. For the winners, the main scorers were Shaharyar (15 points), Sabih Malik (12 points) and Ali Sher (10 points).

The losers team Mohsin Khan was unstoppable in the courts and scored as many as 20 points but his brilliant contribution could not save his team from defeat.
