APROPOS the letter ‘Traffic & WhatsApp’ (Nov 5). The Karachi traffic police are cognizant of the challenges regarding traffic management in the city. It is making its best efforts for providing citizens better services by ensuring minimum traffic congestion and better enforcement on the roads.

Helping people avail themselves the best available routes is among the priorities of Karachi traffic police. The 1915 traffic helpline is working round the clock for public facilitation.

The traffic police WhatsApp number 0305-9266907 is available for citizens’ facilitation regarding their suggestions and complaints, etc. The feedback received is evaluated and measures are taken for complaints redressal.
